How to reset the service light on a 2009 Volkswagen Eos?

The service light on the Volkswagen Eos starts flashing when it's time for a new service. If we decide to perform this operation ourselves without going to a mechanic, we must remember to reset this light; otherwise, it will continue to indicate the need for the required maintenance. To do this, we get into our vehicle on the driver's side and press and hold the O.O button to the right of the dashboard. We continue to hold it while turning the key to switch on the instrument panel and while pressing (just once, without holding it down) the "min" button located on the left side of the dashboard. Now we release the O.O button, turn off the ignition, and start the car to check that the light has indeed turned off.
