To replace the remote battery on the Volkswagen Eos, press the button located at the top of the remote to lift the key blade. At this point, lever inside to separate the upper part of the remote containing the key blade from the lower part. This part must be opened by levering in the groove that divides the two halves: this will allow you to remove the battery from its housing and replace it with a new spare part. After replacement, reassemble all components.
