You can replace the fuel filler flap on the Volkswagen Golf by opening it, allowing you to loosen the screws that secure the flap mechanism from the inside. Once the screws are loosened, you can detach the component completely and then loosen the screws that secure the actuator from inside the boot. When all the cables connected to it have been disconnected, you can remove the component entirely, insert the new replacement parts, and ensure everything functions correctly.
