How to Reset the Service Light on a Volkswagen Sharan

You can completely clear the Service light displayed on the dashboard of the Volkswagen Sharan by holding down the 0.0/SET button located on the right side of the dashboard: after the dashboard is powered on, a message will appear asking if you really want to reset the maintenance interval. By selecting "Yes" using the controls on the right side of the steering wheel, the maintenance interval will be reset; you can also verify that the Service light has been completely reset by turning off and then turning on the display.
