To reset the Service light on a Volkswagen Sharan, press and hold the 0.0/SET button located on the right side of the instrument cluster. Once the cluster is powered on, a message will immediately appear asking if you really want to reset the maintenance interval. By selecting "Yes" with the controls on the right side of the steering wheel, the maintenance interval will be reset. You can also verify that the Service light has been completely cleared; finally, the cluster can be turned off.
