To reset the Service light on a Volkswagen Sharan, press and hold the 0.0/SET button located on the right side of the instrument cluster. Once the ignition is on, a confirmation message will immediately appear, asking if you really want to reset the maintenance interval.

By selecting "Yes" using the controls on the right side of the steering wheel, you can reset the maintenance interval. You can also check that the Service light has been completely reset; finally, turn off the ignition by turning the key.
