Resetting the service light on a Volkswagen Passat, as shown in this tutorial, is an extremely simple and quick operation. Before proceeding, ensure that all scheduled maintenance tasks have been completed. Start by entering the cabin, then insert the key but leave it in the first position. Next, press and hold the "0.0" button located in the centre of the dashboard, turn on the ignition simultaneously, and after about two seconds, release the button and press it a second time. To complete the procedure, simply restart the vehicle.
