Today, we will look at the instructions to replace the battery in the key fob of the Volkswagen Passat. First, take the key fob in hand and extract the physical key from inside it; then remove the plastic cover from the back of the fob, taking out the battery located inside, as shown in the video. Now replace and install the new battery of the correct type and with the same code; then reassemble the fob by refitting the plastic cover and inserting the physical key back inside.
