How to reset the Service light of the Volkswagen Amarok?

Model: Volkswagen Amarok MK 1 - Years 2010-2021

To completely clear the Service light displayed on the instrument panel of the Volkswagen Amarok, press and hold the 0.0/SET button located at the bottom centre of the instrument panel while it is off: continue holding this button, insert the ignition key into the corresponding switch, and turn on the panel. This will display a confirmation message asking if you really want to reset the maintenance interval: pressing the OK button on the right side of the steering wheel will reset the light, after which you can turn off the display.
