The spare wheel of the Volkswagen Amarok is located immediately under the car's chassis, in the rear cargo compartment: in order to access this wheel, you will need to use the special tube key provided in the wheel replacement kit. By inserting this key into the pin located under the cargo compartment door, you will need to turn it to lower the spare wheel completely; after removal, you can use the spare wheel to replace one of those already installed. The latter can then be stored in the spare wheel compartment.
