Removing the Rear Light from a Golf 5

Model: Volkswagen Golf MK 5, Golf 5, Golf V - Years 2003-2008

Remove the rear light if it is damaged or if you need to replace the bulbs inside. Open the boot and use a lever to remove the plastic next to the boot lining (on the side adjacent to the light). Unscrew the securing nuts at the back of the light using a socket wrench. Use a plastic lever to help pull the rear light away. Replace any damaged bulbs with new ones (same size and voltage). After replacing the damaged bulbs, refit the light. Screw in the nuts and close the boot lining.
