Removing the Boot Lock on a Volkswagen Golf

In today’s tutorial, we will see how to remove the lock and handle of the boot on a fourth-generation Volkswagen Golf. First, open the boot and remove the screws from the internal plastic panel, which are located in the grab handles. Then, pull the panel to detach and extract it. Disconnect the boot opening mechanism as shown in the video: using a screwdriver, detach the levers and springs. Now, unscrew the screws holding the lock with a T20 Torx screwdriver and extract it by levering from the outside!
