In this video, learn how to remove and replace the original gear knob of the fifth generation Volkswagen Golf, GTI version. First, get into the vehicle and start by removing the cover at the base of the gear gaiter; then pull the gear knob upwards with force, disconnecting any clip that connects the gaiter and knob, as shown in the video. At this point, remove and replace the knob with the new one, inserting it into the new gaiter; finally, apply the reverse procedure for reassembly!
