Voice Control Activation Button on the Volkswagen Golf

To make a call without taking your eyes off the road or your hands off the steering wheel, simply use the voice recognition button located on the multifunction steering wheel of your VW on the right side. The button features the profile image of a head. After pressing this button, you will hear a beep indicating that the system is listening. After the beep, just say "Call" followed by the name of the contact or number you wish to call. The contact's name must be pronounced as it is written; otherwise, the system will not recognise it. If you cannot remember a contact's name, you can access the contact list through the vehicle's touchscreen menu. To unlock this feature, you need to contact the dealer and provide them with your vehicle details.
