How to Change the Battery on a Volkswagen Lupo

To change the battery on your Volkswagen Lupo, open the front bonnet and begin by disconnecting the battery from the negative terminal. Remove the connector cover and measure the voltage (the one in the video is nearly zero). Unscrew the connector box from the screw located on top of the box, which is in a rather difficult position. Remove the connector box. Now, free the battery from its casing by unscrewing the screw at the bottom of the casing. You can now take the battery out of its housing and replace it with a new, functional one. Position the battery back in its housing, secure it with its screw, reattach the connector box, and reconnect the battery. The job is complete.
