Replacing the Front Headlamp Bulb on the Volkswagen Golf

Below are the steps on how to remove and replace the front headlamp bulb on the Volkswagen Golf. First, open the bonnet by pulling the lever from inside, and begin removing the plastic cover behind the headlamp, disconnecting the electrical connector of the bulb; then unclip the metal spring to extract the dipped beam bulb, as shown in the video. At this point, replace the bulb with a new one of the correct type (in this case, type H1); fit it correctly into the optical unit and make the connection!
