In this guide, we will go through the main steps on how to open the fuel door in case of an emergency and if the fuel door of the Volkswagen Jetta is stuck. Firstly, we open the rear trunk door and start removing the carpet covering on the right side of the vehicle. Then, we manually open the fuel door as shown in the video. After that, we remove the actuator by disconnecting its electrical connector and unscrewing the screws. We then install the new actuator and verify the functioning of the fuel door.
