How to Replace the Wishbone on a Volkswagen Lupo

The failure of the bushes and the ball joint of the suspension wishbone is a fairly common fault in almost all cars, as these components are significantly stressed; to carry out this repair, you can opt for a repair kit that includes two bushes and the ball joint, or for the replacement of the entire wishbone: given the cost, the latter is considered the better solution; in both cases, you will need to remove the wishbone. Therefore, lift the vehicle on a ramp, remove the front wheel, and then the securing bolts of the bushes and the nut securing the ball joint, for which you will need to use the appropriate puller; then proceed in reverse for the installation of the new wishbone.
