How to reset the Service light on the Volkswagen Tiguan?

The procedure to reset the Service light on the Volkswagen Tiguan is performed with the car off and only the instrument cluster on. At this point, press and hold the 0.0 button located in the centre of the instrument cluster. While holding it, press the button that starts the car: this will display a message asking if you really want to reset the Service light. Pressing the 0.0 button again will correctly reset the light, and the procedure will end by turning off the instrument cluster using the button.
