How to Reset the Trip Meter on the Volkswagen Tiguan

Model: Volkswagen Tiguan 5N, MK 1 - Years 2007-2016

To clear the trip meter on the Volkswagen Tiguan, turn on the ignition so you can navigate the menu that appears on the display. Use the directional buttons on the right side of the steering wheel to scroll through the options until you reach the one showing the kilometres since the last reset. When this screen appears, press and hold the OK button also on the right side until the kilometres are reset, then release the button. Finally, turn off the ignition to complete the procedure.
