How do you reset the partial odometer of the Volkswagen Tiguan?

In order to reset the partial odometer of the Volkswagen Tiguan, you need to turn on the instrument panel by inserting the ignition key into the corresponding slot: once this is turned on, you can navigate through the menu accessed with the button on the right side of the steering wheel. You will need to select the "Driving data" option and then scroll to select "Reset long term". This way the partial odometer will be reset from the last time a reset was performed; then you can turn off the panel.
