Let's briefly go through the procedure for disassembling and replacing the battery in the key fob for the Volkswagen Tiguan. First, take your key fob and start by removing the back cover, prying at the sides with something thin and pointed. This will give you access to the battery compartment, as shown in the video. At this point, remove the old battery and replace it with a new one of the correct type and with the same code. Insert it the right way round and finally secure the plastic cover, testing the functionality of the key fob.
