Replacing the Key Fob Battery for a Volkswagen Tiguan

In today's video, you will see how to disassemble and replace the battery in the key fob of a first-generation Volkswagen Tiguan in simple steps. First, take your key fob and use a sharp object to pry open the rear cover to remove it, as shown in the video; this will give you access to the battery compartment. Now, remove the old battery and replace it with a new one of the correct type (in this case, a CR 2032 3V); insert it the right way round and close the cover, snapping it back into the fob!
