How do you change the key fob battery on a Volkswagen Tiguan? Let's see in this video how to do it in detail. Take your key fob and press the button to release the metal key. Once extracted, use a screwdriver to pry between the plastic fob and its cover. Remove the worn battery from the housing, take a new one of the same size and voltage. Refit the plastic battery holder into the fob cover, then insert the metal key back into the cover. Check that the key fob works correctly.
