How to Replace the Timing Belt on a Volkswagen Tiguan

To replace the timing belt on a Volkswagen Tiguan, lift the vehicle with a jack or ramp so that the front right wheel is off the ground. Once lifted, proceed to loosen the screws securing the wheel and completely remove it along with the corresponding inner wheel arch lining. This will provide access to the tensioner roller located on the side of the engine. By removing the roller, you can take the belt out of its housing, insert the new one, and ensure everything is functioning properly.
