How to reset the Service light on the Volkswagen Eos?

To reset the Service light on the Volkswagen Eos, you need to turn on the instrument panel by turning the ignition key in the ignition lock: once this is done, you can press and hold the 0.0 button located on the right side of the instrument panel. While continuing to hold this button, you will notice that the Service light will disappear from the instrument panel; at this point, the panel can be switched off and then back on to verify that the Service light has been reset correctly.
