First, ensure the engine is cool enough, then position a container underneath the bike, locate the drain hole bolt, and unscrew it using a 17mm socket. Allow all the oil in the system to drain out, then unscrew the old filter and tighten both the new filter and the bolt. Finally, pour the required amount of oil through the designated top hole.
