First of all, make sure that the engine is cold enough, then place a container underneath it, locate the drain plug and unscrew it using a 17mm socket wrench. Let all the oil in the system drain out, remove the old filter and tighten both the replacement and the plug. At this point, all that's left to do is to pour in the required amount of oil through the designated upper hole.
