First, ensure the engine is sufficiently cool, then position a container underneath the bike and, using a 17mm spanner, unscrew the drain bolt. Allow all the oil in the system to drain out, then unscrew the old filter and tighten the replacement. At this point, simply reassemble everything and pour in the required amount of oil through the designated upper hole.
