In order to replace the transmission of the Yamaha Zuma 50, you need to loosen the screws that secure the transmission casing, located near the rear wheel on the left side. Once the screws are loosened, you can remove the casing completely and identify the underlying components. The variator and clutch can be removed by loosening the screws that hold them in place, also removing the belt around them; this way you can insert the new replacement parts, then cover everything with the casing.
