To change the motor oil of a Yamaha WR 450, make sure first that the engine is warm to facilitate the draining of the old oil. Position the motorcycle stably and locate the oil drain plug under the engine. Use a wrench to carefully unscrew the plug, allowing the used oil to fully drain into a suitable container. Once the oil has finished draining, carefully screw the drain plug back in, making sure it is tightly secured to prevent leaks. Next, remove the oil tank cap and pour in the new oil, making sure to use the recommended quantity and type of oil as stated in the manual. Check the level with the dipstick or measuring cap, adjusting if necessary.
