These brief and simple steps will show you how to reset the transmission belt change on the Yamaha Xmax 250 scooter. First, place the scooter on the stand and turn on the ignition; then navigate to the flashing V belt option at the bottom of the display by holding down the trip button to the left, as shown in the video.

At this point, wait for the transmission belt mileage counter to reset, thus clearing the belt change warning; finally, turn off the ignition and start the engine!
