How to replace the rear shock absorber on the Yamaha YZ 250?

Model: Yamaha Yz 250fx
Part: Shocks

Video tutorial

To replace the rear shock absorber on the Yamaha YZ 250, start by loosening the screws that secure the seat to its mounting. Once the seat is removed, proceed to unscrew the screws that attach the rear mudguard and detach it completely.

This will allow you to access the underlying shock absorber, which must be freed from the screws securing it at both the top and bottom. The new shock absorber can now be installed, ensuring everything functions correctly.
