In this tutorial, you will see how to change the engine oil in a Kawasaki Z900, a very simple and quick operation to perform every 12 months. First, ensure the engine is sufficiently cool, then position a container underneath it, locate the drain hole bolt, and using a 17mm socket spanner, unscrew it. Allow all the oil contained in the engine to drain out, unscrew the old filter, and tighten the replacement. At this point, simply reassemble everything and pour in the new oil through the designated hole.
