In this guide, you will learn how to perform routine maintenance by changing the engine oil and oil filter on a Kawasaki Z900. First, drain the old engine oil; use a 17 mm socket spanner to unscrew the oil drain bolt located under the engine, allowing it to drain into a container for about ten minutes. Next, remove the old oil filter using the appropriate tool; then insert the new one, tightening it by hand. Finally, pour and fill the engine casing with the new oil!
