To remove the rear shock absorber from a Yamaha Tenere 700, loosen the bolts securing the linkage positioned perpendicular to the shock absorber. By removing the linkage, you will be able to unscrew the bolts securing the shock absorber mounts and remove them as well. After loosening the bolts that secure the shock absorber from the inside, you can slide the piece out and replace it with a new spare part. Position the new shock absorber and secure it with the corresponding bolts while installing the appropriate mounts.
