How to change the battery of the Yamaha T-Max 500

Let's find out in this video the steps that will allow us to disassemble and replace the battery of the Yamaha T-Max 500 first series. First we go to identify our battery, which we find on the front of our scooter; after which we unscrew the screws of the front plastics, in order to remove them and access the battery, as shown in the video. At this point we are going to disconnect the battery terminals (positive and negative pole) and unhook it from its seat to replace it with the new one, of the right type (having the same amperage and the same dimensions as the standard one).

How to restore the oil light on the T Max 530

In this video, we are shown the procedure to reset the oil light on the Yamaha T Max 530 as it does not turn off automatically after changing the oil. The procedure is quick and requires little time to be completed. To reset it, you need to: start the instrument panel, once the panel is started press the menu button, use the selection buttons to scroll to the maintenance item, select it by pressing the menu button, use the selection buttons to select the oil item, press the ok button to confirm, once the kilometers are selected press the up selection button to reset it. Once the light is reset, you can restart the instrument panel to verify that the procedure was successful.
