In this tutorial, we can see how to replace the engine oil in the Yamaha TMAX 500 scooter, an extremely simple and fast operation. First of all, we wait for the engine to be sufficiently cold, then we remove the left lower fairing, locate the drain hole bolt, and unscrew it using a 17mm socket wrench. We then let all the oil in the system drain out, unscrew the old filter using the appropriate wrench, and tighten both the replacement filter and the bolt. At this point, all that's left is to pour the new oil through the upper hole.

How to restore the oil light on the T Max 530

In this video, we are shown the procedure to reset the oil light on the Yamaha T Max 530 as it does not turn off automatically after changing the oil. The procedure is quick and requires little time to be completed. To reset it, you need to: start the instrument panel, once the panel is started press the menu button, use the selection buttons to scroll to the maintenance item, select it by pressing the menu button, use the selection buttons to select the oil item, press the ok button to confirm, once the kilometers are selected press the up selection button to reset it. Once the light is reset, you can restart the instrument panel to verify that the procedure was successful.
