To replace the clutch on the Yamaha R1, loosen all the bolts securing the cover on the right side of the bike. Once the bolts are loosened, remove the cover to access the components underneath: specifically, loosen the bolts securing the clutch discs, which can now be completely removed and replaced. When the new discs are inserted into their housing, cover everything by reinstalling the previously removed cover.
