In order to replace the air filter of the Yamaha R1, you need to loosen the screws that secure the motorcycle seat to its housing: these screws will be located at the rear immediately under the seat covering. Once they have been unscrewed, you can proceed by disconnecting it and accessing the air filter box underneath: this box must be opened by unscrewing all the screws that secure the cover. At this point, the air filter inside can be removed and replaced with a new one, making sure that everything works properly.
