To replace the air filter on a Yamaha R1, first loosen the screws securing the seat so that it can be completely removed from its housing. Once the seat is removed, you will have access to the screws that secure the fuel tank from underneath: these screws must be loosened. After loosening these screws, also loosen the screws that secure the tank laterally by lifting it and disconnecting the connectors underneath. Under the fuel tank, you will find the filter box, which can be opened by unscrewing the screws: this will allow you to remove the old air filter and replace it with a new one.

This short video demonstrates the procedure to reset the engine oil light on a Yamaha XMax 250 scooter. The operation is very simple and quick; first, insert the motorcycle key into the designated slot and turn it to the first position to power on the instrument panel without starting the vehicle.
