How to disassemble the battery in the Yamaha XSR 900?

In this tutorial we can see how to disassemble the battery in the Yamaha XSR 900, a very simple and fast operation. Before proceeding, make sure that the key is not inserted. We start by removing the saddle, then release the battery cover clips and disconnect both terminals starting with the negative. We then disengage the fuse box with the help of a flat-tipped screwdriver, remove the side foam bulkhead and extract the battery from the housing. At this point, we can insert the spare part and recompose everything following the reverse procedure.
