In this tutorial, see how to change the engine oil and the associated filter on a Yamaha XMAX 300 scooter, a very simple operation. Start by placing a container underneath the scooter, then unscrew the drain plug with a Torx key and let the oil drain completely.

Next, unscrew the three bolts of the filter cover, remove it, and take out the filter, cleaning the inside of the housing from any residue. Finally, insert the new filter, tighten each bolt, and pour in the required amount of oil through the designated top cap.
