In this tutorial, you will learn how to replace the drive belt on a Yamaha XMAX 125 scooter, a relatively simple task. First, wait for the engine to cool down sufficiently, then remove the cover of the casing by unscrewing all the relevant bolts.

Next, open the air filter box and remove the filter, unscrew the bolts securing the casing, and open it. At this point, unscrew the nuts from both the clutch and the variator, extract the pulley, and remove the old belt. To fit the replacement, simply follow the reverse procedure.
