How do you reset the Service light on the Yamaha Xmax 250?

The procedure for resetting the Service light on the Yamaha Xmax 250 involves inserting the ignition key into the appropriate slot, causing the instrument panel to turn on. After the instrument panel has been turned on, you will need to press and hold the central button located on the left side of the instrument panel for about 20 seconds. As soon as it is released, you will notice that the flashing oil light has turned off. To verify that the reset has been successful, you can turn off the instrument panel.
