To change the oil of a Sherco ST300 engine, start by placing the motorcycle on a stand to make it stable. Then, locate the oil drain plug on the engine crankcase and the oil fill plug on the side of the engine. Place a collection container under the drain plug and use a wrench to loosen the plug. Let the used oil drain completely. After draining the oil, remove and check the oil filter. Replace it if necessary. Lubricate the gasket of the new filter with new oil and install it. Tighten the drain plug to the correct torque. Pour the new oil into the engine through the fill plug, using the recommended oil in the owner's manual. Check the oil level with the dipstick and add oil if necessary. Clean any oil residue and close the fill plug. Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes to allow the new lubrication to circulate. Check the oil level again and add if necessary. Make sure to properly dispose of the used oil at an authorized collection point.

How to Check the Coolant Level in a Yamaha Xmax
