First, ensure the engine is sufficiently cool, then position a container underneath the bike, locate the drain bolt, and loosen it using a 17mm hex key. Allow all the oil in the system to drain out, then remove the old filter and tighten both the new filter and the bolt. At this point, you can add the new oil through the upper hole.
