How do I replace the fuel pump on the 2008 Ford Fusion?

Answer

To replace the fuel pump, you must first remove the rear seats and unscrew the bolts holding the cover in place. Now you can disconnect the fuel hose connector in order to have access to another cover under which the pump is located, remove it and extract the pump. After reassembling the new one, the various pieces must be put back in their place.
