Fuel Pump Replacement on Ford Fusion

Model: Ford Fusion MK 1 - Years 2002-2012

If the fuel tank is at least half full, it is advisable to drain it. For safety reasons, disconnect the negative terminal of the battery. To access the fuel pump, remove the rear seats as shown in the video. Once done, unscrew the three bolts securing the cover. Clean the area around the pump and prepare some absorbent cloths to avoid damaging the interior with fuel. Disconnect the connector and the fuel line using a small flat screwdriver. At this point, remove the second cover of the pump and disassemble it.
