Briefly, here are the instructions to remove and replace the fuel pump on a Ford Focus. First, open the rear doors of the vehicle and begin removing the rear seat; in this case, the metal sheet is cut to access the top of the fuel pump without removing the tank. At this point, disconnect the electrical connector and the fuel supply line, then remove the pump retaining ring to take it out of the tank; replace the fuel pump with a new original one!
